in the middle of coloring this, i slowly realized that she looks A LOT like strawberry shortcake...i guess u could say she's the teenage version of her? it was really NOT intentional....eheh.....but i like strawberry shortcake, so it's all good...::feels nostalgic::
anywayz, i rilly don't like how her face came out....i rilly suck at inking faces - they alwayz get screwed up. but i rilly like her outfit ^^ it's based off a pic in a magazine, and the skirt was plaid and uber cute! i want it!
ok....enough girly gushing....
and just a random thought....they never teach us how to draw clothes in figure drawing classes....so...i can draw a naked person, but i have lotsa trouble drawing clothes from memory....::sigh;: oh the irony....

I'd almost like it if this were a random girl who dressed in an inspired way to Strawberry herself, because it gives something more of a popular feel to the character while allowing others to retain some individuality on their part. That's why drawing inspiration without directly copying is sometimes more awesome than just straight up fanart! Anyway, thanks for uploading!
